OUR TEACHERS

TOM

Born in London, England, Tom has been teaching and working with schools and companies in Padova for over 15 years. As the director of the school it is his job to perfectly match each teacher to each individual student and group in order to maximise the potential of all the students and to help them achieve their goals. It is also his job to determine the methods and the ways that Studio Inglese uses in order to provide the perfect atmosphere for learning and improving , tailored to every customer

Fun Fact about Tom: Although British, he almost never drinks Tea!

ORLA

Originally from Dublin, Orla has been with us for more than 5 years and has had quite an effect on all her students by conveying her infectious enthusiasm and joy to all her classes and helping many students achieve their goals both for their exams and in general.

Fun Fact about Orla: Apart from her many talents she could whistle even as a baby !

JAIME

FOR MORE THAN 7 years we have been delighted to have Jaime, from  Fort Wayne in the USA, with our Studio Inglese team. Having taught across Italy before, she arrived in Padova and with her carrying a wealth of experience, knowledge and in particular : enthusiasm. Her aim is to motivate and inspire her students and hasn’t had much difficulty in doing so with our students here.

Fun Fact about Jaime: She has been to 27 different countries and almost every single state in the US !
Lincy insegnante madrelingua

LINCY

AI engineer by training, PMO by profession, English coach and culture/food/wine explorer by passion, and a lifelong student of Italian hand gestures. Learning with her is curiosity, laughter, and creativity rolled into one.

Fun Fact about Lincy: She can speak quite a few languages… but her hands are still confused! Alternate careers? Air Force pilot, pro kickboxer, or drummer!

ANTONELLA

Antonella is the welcoming face of Studio Inglese for every student that enters the school. Originally from Puglia, she has been running our administration for over 10 years and keeping everything together at the school. Speaking Spanish, Portuguese and English she also organises and provides our Italian courses to our non Italian students.

Fun Fact about Antonella: Despite the fact she speaks 4 languages she can’t speak any dialect, not even her own , plus no-one can ever spell her surname !

TREVOR

In his eigth year now with us and hailing from Preston, in the North West of England, is Trevor. He moved to Padova to share his considerable experience and skills with us. Our resident IELTS , Exam and Business Expert he has brought his arsenal of tips and tricks to all his courses and has an unblemished record of students achieving their best scores.

Fun Fact about Trevor: He plays and teaches the Violin and speaks Japanese !

JULIA

Julia is from Los Angeles and with a considerable experience working and helping teens and adults, she has  established herself with her very own style that her students greatly enjoy. Julia also specialises in worrking with younger learners with learning difficulties.

Fun Fact : Her family originally emigrated from Padova

JOHN

In his sixth year now with us, John has had great success with all ages of students with his particular style which has enamoured him to his pupils including getting great results with teens and older students alike.

RUTH

In her third year with Studio Inglese, Ruth has brought a great experience and wealth of teaching with her from her many years at other schools in Padova. Beloved by her students she has helped even the lowest levels obtain fantastic results.

Cherr teacher

CHERR

With her background of teaching in international schools in Indonesia, Cherr has guided children from all over the world in mastering English as a second language. Certified in Jolly Phonics and specialized in child and adolescent development, she uses multi-sensory techniques and a deep understanding of developmental psychology to build strong literacy foundations and foster confident, fluent communicators.

Fun fact: She speaks with an American accent despite never having lived there. All thanks to a childhood obsession with Disney shows!

JOHN

Originally from Scotland, John is returning for his second year at Studio Inglese. Having worked across the globe in all types of institutions. With a master’s degree in Cyber Security and a bachelor’s in International Relations john loves have a fun and engaging debate in class!

Fun Fact about John: Yes John has his kilt in Padova and wears it from time to time

ANNA

With over 10 years experience teaching across all ages, from Primary Schools to Language ones, Anna has been charming her students at Studio Inglese for a year now.  Originally from Belfast she has been living in Padova for almost 5 years  and we are very happy to have her as part of the team.

MADELEINE

Originally from Kansas, USA, Madeleine has been helping Studio Inglese for over 5 years. Her warmth and enthusiasm with both our younger students and older ones has been appreciated by all and her ability to instill confidence and security in her student’s English is what brings her students back each year asking to help them continue their growth.

Fun Fact about Madeleine: She plays American Football and was the only female player on her high school Football team !

JULIA IS ONE OF THE MORE RECENT ADDITIONS TO THE TEAM, FROM LOS ANGELES AND WITH A CONSIDERABLE EXPERIENCE WORKING AND HELPING TEENS AND ADULTS, SHE HAS ALREADY QUICKLY ESTABLISHED HERSELF WITH HER VERY OWN STYLE THAT HER STUDENTS GREATLY ENJOY
